Nokia X6 Now Available for Vodafone UK Customers

The Nokia X6 handset, which is claimed to be the most technologically advanced member of Nokia´s Xseries is now available for Vodafone (News - Alert) UK customers.


Some of the key features of the new touchscreen phone are: it has a 32Gb built-in memory, a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen display, 5-megapixel camera dual LED flash with Carl Zeiss Tessar optics and one-year subscription for “Comes with Music” service that allows for download of music completely free of charge from an online server.

The phone comes with a native resolution of 360x640 pixels, supports 16 million colors for superior image quality and the phone’s screen is also very user friendly even under direct sunlight.

The Nokia (News - Alert) X6's built-in DJ chooses the music for user’s mood from a massive 16GB of storage - that's up to 7000 songs - and the standard headphone socket and an excellent audio quality output can enhance user’s listening experience.

For Vodafone customers the device is pre-loaded with the Vodafone 360 Homescreen, giving customers access to Vodafone My Web, VIP contacts and the 360 Apps & Games Shop. On top of that, customers can access the Vodafone Music service to buy and download DRM-free tracks from a catalogue of more than 2 million songs.

The handset also features accelerometer sensor for automatic UI rotation and motion-based gaming, stereo speakers, TV out, FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth and USB (standard microUSB connector) v2.0, VGA video recording capability at 30fps, Quad-band GSM support, Tri-band 3G with HSDPA support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, UPnP technology, and built-in GPS receiver.

Vodafone UK customers can get the Nokia X6 for free on monthly contracts from $45 (24 month contract), with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500 MB of mobile internet. The device is said to be the latest addition to Vodafone UK's comprehensive smartphone range, giving customers the choice of the latest and greatest handsets on the network built for smartphones.
