Clarus Systems Records Positive Growth in 2009

By Raju Shanbhag, TMCnet Contributor

Voice over IP products have gained prominence in the communications industry in the last few years, thanks to causes such as advancement in technology and the relative cost benefits.

Consequently, Clarus Systems, Inc., a provider of integrated VoIP management software and services for Cisco Unified Communications (News - Alert), has registered a record performance for the company’s Fiscal year, ending Dec. 31, 2009.

Clarus System offers enterprises, systems integrators and managed service providers with scaleable IP Communications solutions that maximize ongoing operations and ensure increased end user confidence and efficiency.

By combining automated, end user testing and management applications with strategic services, the company ensures system availability and performance.

While Claurus System more than doubled its contracted bookings, the company also experienced significant growth in customers and revenue. These achievements helped the company to become cash flow positive in Q4 2009. The company also experienced impressive sales momentum in 2009 with significant wins across the Financial Services, Healthcare, and Government sectors.

“2009 has been a transformational year for the company,” said Brendan F. Reidy, CEO, Clarus Systems (News - Alert). “We reduced our operating costs significantly while exceeding all our sales and revenue targets. Large enterprise customers have embraced our transition from a testing solution to an integrated VoIP management suite, and our partners have made ClarusIPC a standard in managing their largest, most complex enterprise VoIP systems.”

Clarus added several global 100 banking and insurance customers to its client list in spite of unprecedented turmoil in the financial services industry. The company also continued its evolution from a testing solution to an integrated VoIP management suite, including testing, performance monitoring, configuration management and business intelligence.

In November, the company announced that ClarusIPC Plus+ has been certified as a Smart Link Integration (SLI) for HP Network Node Manager i (NNMi)-series software. ClarusIPC Plus+ SLI for HP NNMi maximizes Cisco (News - Alert) IP Telephony performance by monitoring end-user calls for problems such as call setup failures, poor voice quality, fraud or incorrect routing.
