ShoreTel has announced it shipped its one millionth phone to Clinica Romero in Los Angeles as part of an initial deployment.
The ShoreTel (News - Alert) IP phone system is a completely integrated system that scales seamlessly from 1 to 10,000 users including PBX, voice mail, and automated attendant functions.
According officials with ShoreTel, the distributed architecture used in its phones are ideal for multi-site companies that span multiple locations.
Clinica Romero operates in East Los Angeles neighborhoods, and serves disadvantaged patients, including the homeless, from more than 140 Southern California zip codes. To make sure that patients are routed to the most qualified staff member as quickly as possible, ShoreTel offers features such as workgroups, hunt groups and office anywhere to help Clinica Romero ensure no call goes unanswered.
“ShoreTel is delighted that the Clinica Romero is now the proud owner of our one millionth phone and pleased to welcome this worthy cause to our growing customer base,' said John W. Combs, ShoreTel chairman and CEO. 'As more organizations realize the value of our brilliantly simple UC solutions, the millionth phone shipment marks an important milestone in the history of our company.”
ShoreTel also recently won a statewide purchasing vehicle contract from the State of Texas, Department of Information Resources, or “DIR.” The DIR contract streamlines the purchasing process for government agencies in the state of Texas that are interested in acquiring the productivity, cost-savings and collaboration benefits of the company’s easy-to-use, extremely reliable and highly scalable UC solutions.
