Jingle Networks Selects Sabse Technologies to Enable 1-800-Free411's Free Five-Minute International Calls
By Calvin Azuri, TMCnet Contributor
Jingle Networks has reportedly selected the TAAS platform and global termination network of Sabse Technologies Inc. to enable the free five-minute international calls offered to 1-800-FREE411 users. Jingle Networks (News - Alert) operates the ad-supported directory assistance service 1-800-FREE411.
The Sabse platform has seamlessly handled almost 5 million calls on behalf of Jingle Networks after it was deployed for 1-800-FREE411 earlier this year. Callers use the 1-800-FREE411 ad-supported service for information as an alternative to higher-priced directory assistance. Callers can also make a free five-minute call to almost anywhere in the world by simply saying “free call.”
In a release, Scott Kliger, CEO of Jingle Networks, said in this tight economic climate, Jingle Networks is offering its users a way to connect with their loved ones and friends all around the world for free. Kliger added that Sabse has been a turnkey partner since the integration and rollout of international calling as a feature of Jingle Network’s 1-800-FREE411 service has been quite smooth and worry-free. Jingle Networks gives consumers an anytime, anywhere source of free information on the phone.

The ad-supported directory assistance service 1-800-FREE411 offers advertisers highly targeted and timely promotional opportunities to reach a targeted customer base who are ready-to-buy. The service is free from any phone. However, a user may get charged minutes on his cell phone. The sponsors of 1-800-FREE411 cover the service cost by playing short advertising messages based on the search request.
Sabse acquired the robust voice-application and network-management platform in September when it took over Mobivox, of Montreal. Sabse had also expanded its services portfolio by acquiring Jaxtr two months ago. Jaxtr is one of world’s largest social-communications companies.
Yogesh Patel (News - Alert), CEO of Sabse Technologies, said the partnership with Jingle Networks is another proof point that Sabse’s telephony-as-a-service platform can be used in innovative ways to monetize other services. Sabse had acquired Mobivox earlier this year since the company was confident that it could help partners like Jingle Networks to find ways to grow their businesses. Sabse Technologies combines a robust infrastructure and enhanced voice services set into a telephony-as-a-service (TAAS) platform that its partners are deploying as turnkey solutions to improve ARPU and customer retention.
