FaxBack's NET SatisFAXtion Fax Server Product Line Interoperable with pbxnsip

pbxnsip has announced full interoperability with FaxBack’s NET (News - Alert) SatisFAXtion VoIP fax server product line and its free VoIP Plug-in for Microsoft Fax offering.
FaxBack is a provider of voice over Internet protocol fax solutions for SMB, enterprise and carrier applications. pbxnsip (News - Alert) and FaxBack officials said that the combined support for the SIP T.38 IP fax standard is the major component of the successful relationship.
The new FaxBack (News - Alert) interoperability and compatibility integration have been inspired by partner feedback concerning the need for comprehensive T.38 platform support for fax, company officials said.
With the integration of pbxnsip with FaxBack’s NET SatisFAXtion fax server, customers can cost effectively migrate to fax-over-IP, gain flexible integration options, and eliminate the need to purchase and maintain premise based VoIP gateways or dedicated fax hardware. pbxnsip said that it uses its own next generation technology to pass through the fax transmission.
FaxBack’s NET SatisFAXtion fax server fully supports fax machines. Company officials said that it offers complete fax-machine-to-fax-server integration; extends all fax server capabilities and benefits to individual fax machines – by making the fax machine a direct client of the fax server.
Additionally, the fax images that are sent from fax machines are archived logged and tracked. Also, they may be routed into business workflows and document management systems.
Company officials said that this feature extends the usefulness of existing fax machine assets. In addition, the feature also facilitates regulatory compliance requirements like HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley, and corporate document governance requirements.
And, thanks to FaxBack’s “VoIP Plug-in for Microsoft (News - Alert) Fax,” pbxnsip customers can use “Windows Fax and Scan” in combination with their pbxnsip solution. The free VoIP plug-in provides desktop users with core print-to-fax functionality and the ability to send, receive, and archive faxes from the desktop.
Moreover, to the organizations that require the extended features of a fax server, the VoIP plug-in offers a migration path to any of FaxBack’s NET SatisFAXtion fax server products, company officials said.
Kevin Moroz (News - Alert), COO at pbxnsip, said that it hasn’t been easy finding the right product to compliment pbxnsip T.38 support but “I feel that we have been very lucky in finding such a high calibre of product with FaxBack.”
“The response we’re seeing across the SMB and enterprise marketplace to NET SatisFAXtion and our new Fax VoIP Plug-in is tremendous, because it turns one of the last hurdles for adopting a new VoIP phone system – reliable VoIP-Fax – into a simple convenience that improves productivity and saves money,” said Quentin Dible, vice president of operations at FaxBack.
