ShoreTel Named One of the Fastest Growing Companies in North America

ShoreTel (News - Alert), a provider of VoIP phone systems that come with fully integrated Unified Communications, recently announced it secured the 228th spot in Deloitte (News - Alert) LLP’s list of 500 of the fastest growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and environmentally-friendly companies in North America.
These rankings were assigned on the basis of percentage of fiscal year revenue growth during the five year period between 2004 and 2008. During this period, ShoreTel’s revenues were up by 584 percent.
According to John Combs (News - Alert), ShoreTel’s CEO, engineering innovations and focus on customer satisfaction have been a key factor in contributing to the company’s exponential growth numbers.
“ShoreTel has a laser-like focus on providing easy-to-manage, simple-to-use solutions, on an architecture that is built for reliability and growth. Our growing list of raving fans is a testament to our success and the driving force behind our year-over-year growth in the UC market. As we enter 2010, the number of ShoreTel customers is set to well exceed 11,000 as we continue to deliver brilliantly simple solutions to businesses worldwide," Combs said.
ShoreTel has continued its successful run in 2009 including the launch of several new products and installation announcements and an announcement that it would be setting up its ShoreTel Contact Center 5.1.
This solution will be a latest variant of its application suite which is widely used by contact centers across the globe and offers support services in seven additional languages as well as advanced reporting features which help to hugely improve customer service and reduce deployment and maintenance costs.
