By Rajani Baburajan, TMCnet Contributor
CyberData Corporation, also known as “The IP Endpoint Company,” has announced the release of their first Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Talk-Back Speaker and Digital Wall Clock Kit designed to provide application specific endpoints for unified communications.
Officials with CyberData (News - Alert) said the VoIP Talk-Back Speaker and Digital Wall Clock Kit provide true two-way communication in a highly visible public address device and includes an easy-to-read time display.
The Session Initiation Protocol (News - Alert) (SIP)-enabled VoIP Speakers is PoE powered which, when integrated with the Digital Wall Clock Kit, is the appropriate solution for education and healthcare markets, and any large or small and medium enterprise (SME) requiring mass notification capabilities.
In May, CyberData announced that it completed interoperability testing of its VoIP Speaker with the Brekeke PBX. Brekeke (News - Alert) Software develops SIP communication software products that help organizations to seamlessly migrate or integrate IP communication systems within their communication infrastructure.
Company officials say the company has witnessed a growth in their IP endpoints solutions despite the difficulties faced by most OEM design and manufacturing firms across the world.
“We have seen an increase, particularly with our overseas customers,” said Phil Lembo, president and CEO of CyberData. “We think this is a great sign for our continued product success.”
CyberData also recently partnered with Zultys, a provider of VoIP telephony solutions, to enable its support of Zultys (News - Alert) VoIP paging and access control products, TMCnet reported. This partnership provides CyberData with broader product portfolio of IP speakers, intercoms and paging devices that integrate into an organization’s unified communications system, enabling seamless door-to-desk presence and communications.
