Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce Installs ATCOM's VoIP Communications System

Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce, headquartered in downtown Durham, North Carolina, has deployed ATCOM Business Telecom Solution’s Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications system.
 
Officials at ATCOM said that, they have provided the Chamber with the latest VoIP platform, which allows the company to manage their communications more effectively.
 
“We look forward to working with ATCOM to install the new phone system in our offices,” said Bob Zimmer, chief operating officer of the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce. “We expect the new communications system to be very successful and help us to communicate better with our community.”

 
The cabling for the new communication system was completed in February and includes a Unified Messaging application which provides the ability to have voicemails delivered to email for ease of sharing and storing client correspondence.
 
“We are pleased to be working with the Greater Durham Chamber of Commerce,” said Morgan. “The Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone system will allow for improved and more effective communication between the Chamber and their community.”
 
ATCOM Business Telecom Solution’s is a privately held firm that offers deployment of business telephone systems, unified messaging systems, wireless solutions, LAN/WAN infrastructure/services, video conferencing, carrier network services for local and long distance, and structured cabling solutions for voice and data.
 
The company recently made headlines for installing a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) communications system for Cary, N.C. based Ellis & Winters, to provide the law firm with seamless communication from the Cary location to the remote office in Greensboro. N.C.
 
A Unified Messaging application included in the system also enables Ellis & Winters to deliver voicemails to email - for ease of sharing and storing client correspondence.
