TransWorld Network and Zing Networks Chooses Alianza for Hosted VoIP Services
By Jai C.S., TMCnet Contributor
Alianza, Inc., a provider of hosted voice over WiMAX (News - Alert) solutions, has been selected to provide hosted VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) services for Transworld Network and Zing Networks.
"Alianza's (News - Alert) technology allows service providers to launch their entire voice communications services in a short period of time and under their own brand, with no up front costs,” said Brian Beutler, chief executive officer of Alianza.
“Installation of customer premise equipment is plug and play, so there is no installation required by the service provider. Because the Alianza platform uses SIP as a protocol, it integrates easily and transparently to legacy PBX (News - Alert) systems and PSTN networks.”
TransWorld Network is an Inter exchange Telecommunications Carrier offering long distance service, dedicated access telecommunication service, toll free service, pre-paid and post-paid phone calling cards, dial-up internet service as well as e-commerce value added services.
Zing Networks, based in Detroit, is a WiMAX service provider offering high-performance "Metropolitan Ethernet" and fourth generation (4G) wireless Internet, telephony and satellite services. Zing provides services to companies requiring secure, stable connectivity and wireless flexibility, at a lower cost than traditional phone and cable providers.
The two service providers have chosen Alianza to add feature-rich voice services to their broadband offering. This, as stated, will enable them to increase market share and margin by deploying a fully integrated, white label voice solution.
“For WiMAX networks, voice is one of the killer applications. It’s what business and residential customers want most. With Alianza, we were up and running quickly and reliably with a voice offering,” said Tolly Marcus, chief executive officer at Zing Networks.
“Zing offers services tailored to the needs of individual customers. Alianza’s hosted voice platform is customizable, and we can manage everything from one simple interface.”
“TWN provides broadband access to consumers across many states, and the ability to deliver digital phone service in conjunction with Internet access services will be a major benefit to the rural consumer base we serve,” said Colin Wood, chief executive officer of TWN.
TransWorld Network Corp. has recently expanded its coverage by adding broadband wireless networks in various regions around the country.
