Whaleback Systems Seeks to Expand IP Telephony in United States

Whaleback Systems (News - Alert) today announced a new comprehensive channel sales program in a bid to support its “aggressive expansion” into what officials from the company call key regions throughout the United States.

 
The company said that it’s designed the multi-faceted channel program to scale distribution and drive sales opportunities for its CrystalBlue Voice Service, which is premise-based and software-driven. The service includes IP PBX (News - Alert) with Key System Unit features and Road Warrior Functionality, according to the company.
 
Also, featuring an all-inclusive, unlimited nationwide calling package, Whaleback’s CrystalBlue Voice Service makes the advanced technology “affordable” for companies that need between 5 and 1,500 phone stations, officials say.
 
A comprehensive reseller and sales agent program, the Whaleback channel sales program is a designed to help broaden the company’s sales coverage, while increasing sales opportunities for Whaleback CrystalBlue Voice service, according to officials.
 
The three-tiered program is anchored by Whaleback “Premier Partners,” a network of telecom resellers, interconnect, IT services, according to the company. In addition, “Premier Partners” also include managed IT service provider companies that sell Whaleback’s CrystalBlue Voice Service in their local territories in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest and Southeast regions, company officials say.
 
Officials said that the Whaleback Premier Partners are supported in their sales efforts by a network of local sales agents who help with finding sales opportunities.
 
Mark Galvin (News - Alert), founder, president and chief executive officer at Whaleback Systems, said that this new program aligns Whaleback with a select group of reseller partners that are based in key regions and can broaden and deepen its presence in these areas.
 
“This marks the next step in Whaleback’s growth as more and more businesses needing a new phone system are signing up for Whaleback CrystalBlue Voice Service and enjoying the benefits of our broadband-based managed IP PBX service,” Galvin said.
 
Whaleback is a Managed Service Provider, delivering an end-to-end broadband business telephony service for SMB customers. The telephony service features a managed, premises-based IP PBX with Key System Functionality along with a broadband-based telephony service infrastructure.
 
Last month, company introduced a new referral program that gives individuals the opportunity to refer new business prospects to Whaleback and earn money in the high-growth commercial IP telephony services market.
